Thanks for sharing.
Dam you guys used too strong of temporary cement for that temporary crown lol. Shouldn't be that hard to take off.
Standing during assisting is inhumane and selfish.
I think they look beautiful
How long do they last
Very informative. Thank you. God bless you.
Doc, is it difficult to take the temporaries out since they are bonded??
Can I use this video for our making education video ?
Hi Doc ! Ali JahPharaoh PTah el former colleague Multipurpose Dental Assistant turned comic.
thank you i had a patient recently
In which impression did u make the temporary crowns?
This is a lot removed from the real teeth. Now she will have to wear veneers forever 😢
Wow this video is 🔥🔥🔥
No dental dam while doing a composite? hmmmmmm
What about the biological width?
Thank you for explaining. I'm in Germany and want to get this treatment done. I'll have a look around for doctors who can do this :)
Your voice over is really helpful to understand the entire procedure. One suggestion it is very stressful to stand and assit one of my friend ended up this profession coz of lower back pain arises and he needed to left this profession.
Just do what feels comfortable to you. I’ve been an assistant for 11 years and frequently stand due to my height. I ensure to do core exercises to stay strong and stretching :) you all got this! Take care of yourselves
you can also cut a slot through the center and use a flat head screw driver to remove it.
Hi, doctor. Great tips but I hava a question. Since the bond layer create a thickness (even though it’s a little) and this is a minimal invasiv restoration ,doesn’t that layer effect fitting of permanent veneers negatively?
Why is the suction touching the assistant's pulse at 7:51? Not hygienic for the patient and for the assistant.
as a new assistant im just amazed by her ability to see everything. A lot of times I want to move my suction but I can't see around doc's hands.
Why destroy your teeth and all the human made is not permanent dentis are laying for money only
Great video…. It was very helpful.
It is not entirely clear why you removed the 2.5 premolar from the occlusion and loaded the 2.4 - with an amalgam seal .
Just want to say how much I appreciate you guys making these videos. They are so helpful, especially when it comes to all the different steps that are involved.
Please make a video on how to assist #12 crown prep. Up close and in detail. I struggle SO bad with where to put the suction for #12. Thank you!!
To remove temp can u use forceps?
Please don't.. it'll luxate the tooth instead.
Both dark and light viscostat work differently and providers prefer light viscostat in the anterior because it’s a vasoconstrictor to stop bleeding while dark viscostat kinda chemically cauterizes the bleeding gums and leaves these scary looking black clots on the gums. Also there’s rumors dark viscostat interferes with bonding but I haven’t found any research articles supporting that
About to start my program any tips on good study methods programs
Brilliant ❤
What kind of material is used for the base material? And does the tooth need to be etched before placing bleach? Thanks.
My dentist doesn't believe me when I say it hurts to eat with my crown. He hasn't permanently cemented yet because I've been having pain when I bite down
Im so sorry youre dealing with that! Was this after a root canal, is it a screw-retained crown or a “normal” crown that just caps your tooth?
No root canal. Its a crown that fits over my tooth.
Can you upload a version with the original sound? And also from a above the face angle too to see better
Can you make another video of adjusting a premolar or anterior temporary crown .
Thankyou for sharing your knowledge and experience
but how to remove them
Great video!
And the dentist is proud that the assistant is standing. You know that it will damage or affect the body in the long run, right? That is why they don’t advise assistant to be standing and learning to sit down
I have this same issue that occured 3 days ago. About how much would this cost approximately ? I can drive to flower mound . Thank you, Rich
Why do teeth turn dark after a root canal procedure?
'promosm' ☀️
Saved my ass
Hey thanks for the video. My only question is about adding a hemostatic agent to the cord. I hear "dry" makes it easier, does aluminum chloride make it harder?
It's a good tip, but I'm wondering if it will make the crown weaker, and then any use of forceps will just fracture the crown from the root and make the extraction more difficult.
My doctor didn't recommended me any bleach he said it's impossible in my case it's instead he He did a clay-like layer called veneers. I think , but despite that, the tooth is still dark in a way that really bothers me. What can I do?
Internal bleaching. But that's risky too I heard. It can weaken you tooth. More brittle.
I came across your video while looking through RUclips to find some training videos. And this video is great. I'm somewhat a new dental assistant, and I don't really have any experience. But it's so hard to get hired as a dental assistant with no experience. It is very frustrating!!!!! How can I ever get experience if no one will hire me?!?!?!?😔😔😔😔🤷🏿♀️🤷🏿♀️🤷🏿♀️🤷🏿♀️
Take a dental assistant course.
@sundominga I'm sorry, but you even read my comment?? I have already completed a dental assisting program, my issue is getting hired as a new dental assistant with no experience...That's the dilemma right now.
Try starting working at a corporate practice instead of a private practice. I did this because they required little to no experience. Once you got a hold of the basics try getting into a private practice or dental temp agency.
I notice my dentist did not use the curing light after he seated the crown will this cause problems? If so what kind of problems? Thank you.
She did a good job , nice handoff
All while standing up 😳
Rubber dam isolation 😏
